Goldrush
Valve released a new map (and consequently, a new game type) for Team Fortress 2 this week, called Goldrush. I had gotten a bit tired of the game but this new map has me addicted again. It is massively fun. It will help to fill the void while I STILL WAIT FOR GTA4.
Goldrush is done in an art style similar to that of dustbowl but I find the gameplay much more fun. Essentially the blue team has to escort a mine cart along the tracks until it reaches the end of the line. The red team has to stop them. The cart only moves when blue players are close to it. The more players close by, the faster it moves.
Since the cart has to follow a fixed path you can expect lots of sentry guns and ambushes. The fixed path focuses players to congregate in the same area, making for some fun action.

I finally got around to trying this tonight, interesting addition, but I still find TF2 slow and irritating.
20 second spawn time? Ask my bollox tbh… if I die and have time to eat a sandwich before I respawn then I may as well start playing counterstike again, at least it has tension.
