It wasn't too long ago that you couldn't configure WPA encryption with a GUI, but they all seem to do that and have great hardware support out of the box now. It's pretty dang good. I found that the wifi works better than Ubuntu or Fedora, with a D-Link card. (I have a Thinkpad R32 with a 1.6ghz processor).
