September 11th, 6 years on
Today is the 6th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon on September 11th, 2001. This is a thread that was being posted to on boards.ie as events unfolded on the day. Its quite fascinating the read peoples’ first reactions to the planes hitting the towers and then the collapse of the towers.
There are even comments about how “some country somewhere is gonna get some serious sh17 kicking in the next few weeks methinks….” - How correct they were.

It’s actually the first year that they haven’t had a ceremony for it apparently. I really think, America, as a country needs to move on whatever about the personal grieving for people for people who lost loved ones. It’s becoming a bit of an ear sore to be honest.
