I thought this was funny…
Eurogamer had a post today about the release of Windows Vista and its impact on gamers and so forth. The comments section was full of fuckwits saying “get a mac” — hardly a smart move when your primary use of the computer is to play games. One guy came out with this comment.

As you might know I am a serious Mac head now. I have a G5 Dual Core and bought Quake 4 for it. Absolutely desparate quality, so choppy and couldnt handle fuck all shadowing, etc (And I got an upgrade on the video card)! Mac is just not built for well for games, anyone who says “get a mac” for games is a mong.

Indeed I know. Have you tried dual booting Windows XP on it with bootcamp? I wonder if there’d be any difference to performance. I’ve nothing against Macs, but guys advocating them to people looking to play games are nutters!
My sister got herself a nice little white intel MacBook a while before Christmas.
