Nerdage

Windows Vista beta 2 is available to the public now in both 32 and 64-bit flavours. 3GB DVD image to download. Microsoft’s servers are taking a bit of a pounding so it might be worthwhile to find a bittorrent mirror. You will need to register with MS to use it - they will email you a product key that will work with up to 10 installations until June of next year.

I’m downloading it purely to fool about with the fancy 3d accelerated gui stuff. Mmm, eye candy!

What a weekend!

Best weather seen here in years + the Cat Laughs comedy festival + bank holiday Monday = a fucking great weekend!

Went to see two shows this year: the International Improv at the Watergate, which was very good, and Phil Kay at Kyteler’s, who was a complete and utter mentalist. I also went along to the Ireland vs. Rest of the World football match at the Fair Green on Sunday, which was fairly amusing too.
