Ryanair in landing-near-to-destination shocker
by Steve on Mar.30, 2006, under Ireland, News
A Ryanair fight from Liverpool to Derry last night landed at a British army base rather than the City of Derry airport, which is 6 miles away.
Yes, I’m still laughing.

Is the fact that I’m doing all my studying for MCSE2003 exams on a Linux box more than a little ironic?

Fedora Core 5 released
by Steve on Mar.22, 2006, under Nerdism
Fedora Core 5 was released a few days ago. Here’s a review already. You can download the ISO’s for x86, x86-64 and PPC here. The full install is 5CD’s (or 1 DVD) worth.
Dunno if I can be bothered with it myself, Suse 10 is running pretty well for me, though I still use Windows far more.
