Need For Speed: Most Wanted

I’ve recently been playing the PC version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted. In my opinion, it is a great improvement over the two Underground NFS games, with a return to the car-chase antics of the NFS Hot Pursuit series. It still retains the boy racer pimp-’em-up element of the underground games, and has a similar selection of cars, most of which are Jap import favourites like Supras, Lancers, Eclipses. There’s a few european cars too, notably the Audi TT, A3 and A4, VW Golf GTI, BMW M3 GTR and a couple of sporty Mercs. Oh, and I should also mention that there’s a couple of Lambos… mmm.

Fun game anyways, dunno what the console versions are like — could be decent on Xbox 360, as it makes my fairly beefy PC chug in places running in 1280×1024.
If you prefer your driving games to be something along the lines of Gran Turismo (i.e. realistic), this is not the game for you. If you like arcadey fun that doesn’t require you to learn the layout of each and every track by heart, this is for you.

Anyone have a SuSE 10 DVD they can copy for me?

My SuSE Linux 10.0 x86_64 DVD is after getting scratched to bits, with the result that it is no longer readable. Anyone want to burn a copy of it for me? I can’t redownload the iso (which I no longer have either, oops) because it would consume most of the poxy cap UTV impose on me. Even a 32 bit version would be great.

I can give you a blank DVD or some Ubuntu 5.10 CD’s in return, or we can come to some other agreement. Cheers!

(The iso in question is mirrorred on ftp.esat.net by the way… hint hint people with access to crazy internet connections)
