Bell-ends of the week: Irish Ferries
by Steve on Nov.29, 2005, under Bell-ends, Ireland, News
Wow, what a shower of pricks Irish Ferries’ management are. I hope the unions nail them to the wall.
Re-registering their ships under foreign flags of convenience so that they won’t have to obey Irish employment laws? Trying to sack hundreds of long term employees in order to replace them with slave-wage “agency” workers? Trying to employ union-busting tactics? Congratulations, you bastards.

“wife trader”, via Google, from someone in the US
“Skangers”, several times via Yahoo, Google as Gaeilge and normal Google, from guess where
“FUCK OFF”, via MSN search, someone in the US
That first one … seriously…

Idiot tries to open aircraft door for a smoke
by Steve on Nov.22, 2005, under Bell-ends, News
OK, forget Jack Thompson. He’s just been knocked off the top spot for bell-end of the week. Step up Sandrine Helene Sellies, you are the new champion!
Sandrine wins the prize for her cunning idea to have a cocktail of booze and sleeping pills to alleviate her fear of flying. She then proceeded to try to open the aircraft door inflight so that she could have a smoke.
What a fucking idiot. I see a Darwin award in her future.
