		<description>[...] Waterford Boundary Extension into Kilkenny  Okay, I saw a blog earlier today quoting the defiant Killkenny People “NOT AN INCH” is the headline. But why? I mean The Killkenny Council doesnt invest in that area whatsoever and Waterford City is expanding into the Killkenny border faster then Killkenny TOWN is expanding out into their border. Estates are being built up in Ferrybank and the people moving into them have been living in Waterford all their lives… and now they find themselves in that shithole that is Killkenny! To quote the other blog (FeckOff.net), “the proposed land grab would see over 20 existing townlands in south Kilkenny becoming part of the environs of Waterford City”. It fails to mention that the majority of these people work in the City, Shop in the City and send their children to school in the City, yet they are forced to pay Killkenny Council taxes yet they receive absolutely no investment in that area from the Killkenny Council.
